Recycling at flats in Springhall, Rutherglen

If you live in a flat with communal bins in the Springhall area of Rutherglen, you will now be able to recycle more from home.

We are pleased to include your area in this new project to help you recycle more.

Replacement bins

We will replace your existing communal blue bins for mixed recycling with communal blue-lidded and grey-lidded bins on Friday 31 May and Saturday 1 June.

What goes into the blue and grey mixed recycling bins?

Please recycle clean paper, card and cardboard in the blue bin.

Glass, cans and plastics can be recycled in the grey bin.

These containers should not be used for general waste.

Further detailed information on what can and cannot be recycled in your new communal bins will be delivered to your home address.
