| About us | Blantyre Old Parish Church has two ladies who are our 'Prayer Warriors' Jean and Kathryn. They are available for anyone who is in need of prayer. They are available every Sunday after worship and Wednesdays at our Warm Welcome Hub. |
| Our Wish | At present the ladies are using whatever space they can find for prayer in our Church Hall. Due to safeguarding the ladies are required to be visible especially as some of the people who ask for prayer have serious mental health conditions. We are looking for a solution to where they can use a versatile space as a prayer hub within our main hall where it would not affect other hall lets. Whether it could be designed in a corner where furniture could be folded away but allowing it still to be a comfortable and welcoming space where they can have tea and maintain privacy to a certain extent. At present they have used hall chairs with some partition screens in a corner with their tea on the floor. They are looking for a suitable space allowing for a max of 3-4 people. We are looking for either a design solution and/or financial support to make this happen. |
