| About us | Eddlewood Football Association (EFA) is a community-based charity dedicated to enhancing public participation in sports, particularly football, within Eddlewood and the surrounding areas in South Lanarkshire. We operate from the Eddlewood Football Pavilion, providing coaching and development opportunities for local children, youth, and adults. Our programs promote active lifestyles, community engagement, and social inclusion, aiming to improve physical health, mental well-being, and social cohesion. We’re currently involved in a phased project to transform our football pavilion and pitches into a community-owned asset, supported by community feedback and needs assessments. This project will not only improve sports facilities but also create a community hub that will serve as a vibrant, inclusive space for local residents. |
| Our Wish | EFA is seeking the donation of a laptop and printer to support our administrative and operational activities. These tools are essential for managing our programs, coordinating with volunteers, and engaging with the local community. The laptop and printer will be used for tasks such as scheduling team practices, maintaining communication with community members, and creating promotional materials for our ongoing projects, including our current phased development to enhance local sports facilities and build a community hub. Why We Need It: The laptop and printer will directly aid in the effective management of EFA’s initiatives, helping us to streamline operations and better serve the Eddlewood community. This equipment will be instrumental as we prepare for the upcoming phases of our community project, which aims to bring long-term benefits to local residents by providing improved recreational and social spaces. |
