IdeaImprove the parking in the sheltered housing complex at Stonefield Park Gardens, Blantyre. Families, carers, nurses and emergency services are unable to park because of people using the spaces who are not visiting the complex. There is a residents only sign displayed but perhaps this needs to be a permit only area.
ResponseThe council is aware of this parking issue. Improvements including new signage and clearer lines have been made. The issue continues to be monitored, with enforcement action considered as one method to address the problem.
