About us | Blantyre Soccer Academy Blantyre Soccer Academy (BSA) is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO SC 043613) dedicated to advancing public participation in amateur football. Its mission is to promote football through the provision of recreational facilities and activities, enhancing the fitness and health of its participants. BSA serves 420 children (boys and girls aged 3 to 19), an adult amateur team, and an over-35 team, bringing its total membership to 600. As a fully inclusive disability club, BSA offers a complete player pathway in a safe, supportive environment that fosters football skills, health, self-esteem, and community bonds in Blantyre and surrounding areas. Programs and Structure: Inclusivity: BSA is committed to being a full disability club, ensuring access and opportunities for all. Volunteer-Based: Established in 2010, BSA operates entirely through the efforts of volunteer coaches and staff, maintaining a non-profit status. Community Support: The academy thrives on local community support and seeks sponsorship from like-minded businesses and individuals. Diversity and Respect: BSA promotes inclusion regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexuality, or disability, encouraging pride and respect among participants. Role Models: The academy invites successful sports figures to inspire young members and promote positive, healthy lifestyles.
