About usThe Parent Council raises funds and organises activities for the pupils at our small rural school. The size of the population and our rural location means that our children often miss out on opportunities to learn, play, grow and socialise that those in other areas of South Lanarkshire have access to.
Our WishThe Parent Council has only been in existence for 5 months and although we have lots of ideas for projects to benefit the pupils, we struggle to achieve these effectively due to a lack of IT equipment. We would benefit from a shared laptop, Microsoft word subscription and a printer so that we can effectively apply for funds, communicate with funders and third party suppliers and advertise events and projects. It would also assist us to ensure that all finances, meetings and correspondence are recorded appropriately
