| About us | We are a local foodbank, a non profit organisation, our charity is entirely run on a voluntary basis. We help anyone who is struggling whether that is the cost of living crisis or out of work or simply fallen on hard times. We have a holistic approach to the support we provide. We start with a bag of food, then signposting, emotional support and company. Our help is to feed and support people when they need it most.. We make up 180 food parcels per week, feeding 600 people and 140 pets. We not only provide food but also, advice, sanitary products, houseware goods, clothes, furniture etc. We have a small office running in the background to manage all our administrative work. |
| Our Wish | We have requested IT equipment if possible. The reasoning for this is our charity has grown enormously in recent years and the equipment we have is no longer sufficient in number or capacity. Our service, as referenced, feeds roughly six hundred people a week. In order to fully support everyone as much as possible, we maintain a database, are constantly working with community groups and businesses in an attempt to survive. The admin requirements have obviously grown in accordance with this and we are struggling to be as professional as we need to be due to our lack of equipment. Our focus is and always will be feeding and looking after everyone who needs it. We have developed our service to provide a truly holistic package offering free household items, clothing, counseling, signposting and just being a human presence with a cup of tea and comfort when needed. We aim to give everyone Full Tummies, Warm Hearts and clear heads. We would appreciate any support to much. |
