| About us | We are a small, entirely volunteer ‘food bank’ style operation based in Bothwell, South Lanarkshire. Unlike most other food banks, we do not require people to provide evidence of them being in receipt of benefits. Instead, we offer food and other household provisions to anyone who comes into our operation, we do not ask questions, nor do we pass judgement. Our Larder is staffed entirely by volunteers from the local community. We open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Noon to 2 PM throughout the year. Our Larder is supported by the Bothwell Parish Church and Bothwell Futures. The operation relies entirely on food and household donations from local people and local businesses. |
