Consultation summary and background | Participatory budgeting (PB) is a way of giving people a say in how public money is spent in their communities. Organisations and groups apply and then the community will vote on the projects they would like to see happen. We have a bigger than usual budget this year with a total of £45,201 from South Lanarkshire Council and The National Lottery Community Fund. The fund will be split in two - Small Grants (Up to £3000) with £6300 available each for each area Circuit, Westburn and Halfway and Larger Grants (No Max Amount) with £26,300 available for projects across the area. All applications must have a particular focus on engaging residents from at least one of the following areas Circuit, Westburn and Halfway. |
