About usWoodpark Nursery provides high quality early learning and childcare service to the families of Lesmahagow and the local rural community and is a registered Early Learning and Childcare provider with the Care Inspectorate. The nursery provides day care for children aged two to starting primary one. The Willow Room has fifteen spaces available for children aged two-to-three and the Rowan Room had the capacity for up to fifty-four children aged three-to-primary one at any one time. In addition to the playrooms both age groups have access to a playground for daily outdoor learning and play. as part of our improvement plan we hope to develop and enhance our outdoor play provision by replacing shelters, making others watertight and replenishing our provision for digging, gardening and growing, so that children and families are supported to develop life skills in the areas of self-sufficiency, sustainability and bio-diversity.
Our WishWe need two 3x3m heavy duty gazebos to replace our current ones which are suffering from wear and the weather and are now torn, this will help us reignite enthusiasm for children to play outside in the fresh air during the winter months by providing them with some shelter. To help our families develop their skills of self sufficiency, sustainability and Biodiversity we are asking for donations of soil, vegetable seeds and gardening equipment.
