Consultation summary and background | A local stakeholder group of organisations & residents living in the East Kilbride South area has been established. This group hope to replicate the Neighbourhood Planning process already carried out in other priority areas of South Lanarkshire. The aim is to create a holistic local plan with priorities chosen directly from the people living within the EK South areas. |
Why are we consulting? | This consultation will capture the views and ideas of local residents living in the East Kilbride South Area. People will be asked to comment on what works well within their area, what services do they currently use and what requires improvement in the area. |
Who are we consulting | Community groups/organisations, Ethnic minorities, Expert stakeholders, General public, Head teachers, Older people, Parents, Carers, Guardians, People with disabilities, Residents of the area, Stakeholders, Tenants and Volunteering groups/organisations |
How will findings be used? | The findings will then be used to create a ten year sustainable development plan with the main themes then being used to create projects and necessary changes for the EK south area. |
