Aims and Objectives | As part of the Health and Social Care Partnerships budget setting process, efficiencies are sought through a range of methods including price review. The aim of this policy is to look at a range of options to look at the level of subsidies provided and the degree to which costs are recovered taking cognisance of the our Local Government Benchmarking Framework charges in respect of this service, and also the additional costs predicted with the move from analogue to digital technologies for the delivery of this service. |
Conclusion | The aim of this policy is to increase the Community Alert Alarm Charge from £1.70 to a more appropriate option as outlined within the benchmarking exercise undertaken as part of this price review. The price increase will assist the service move from analogue to digital, and continue to maintain the independence and safety of the service users utilising the service. |
