| About us | We provide a meeting place for anyone affected by memory issues such as people living with dementia, their carers and their family members. Our Tuesday or “drop in" group operates from 11.30am to 2pm with a light lunch included. On Friday between 1 and 3 pm, we facilitate a short dementia friendly walk including tea and coffee and a well needed blether within the church hall. On Thursday we are proud to run a ‘Heart for Art Day’ which also is situated within the church hall between the hours of 11 am and 1pm. |
| Our Wish | We are seeking the donation of a polytunnel. We have developed our garden recently which has become a creative place of hope and was a valuable outdoor space during covid times. The next stage is to develop an area within the garden to give people living with memory issues further opportunities to socialise and create a sense of purpose whilst increasing their physical activity. To do this, our wish would be to have a 6m x 3m polytunnel where people can benefit from planting and growing flowers, herbs and vegetables as this type of activity has numerous benefits. |
