| About us | We are a grassroots community football team based in Rutherglen/Cambuslang. We support about 40 boys from disadvantaged backgrounds that were born in 2007. Our football training grounds are situated at Stonelaw High School in Rutherglen. Here we have over 40 volunteers who support the football club and ensure the boys have the best training and football experience. |
| Our Wish | " We would like to take the young footballers on an English Premiership football experience. This includes travel to and from the stadium by coach. Play football with a local team and meet new people. Experience a Premiership team training ground and have a tour of the stadium. Then enjoy and watch the game. We would be very grateful of a financial donation of £3500. This would partly cover the coach hire which totals £4048.24. The rest of the money we will fundraise to cover the difference. As we are a community-based club, we have several boys that have never had the opportunity to travel out with South Lanarkshire. This event will broaden the young people’s horizons by gaining a different perspective on life and helping them experience different cultures. This event would also support the young people’s mental health by providing an opportunity of an event to focus on and look forward too. " |
