About usThe Partnership group of St John's Primary Blackwood exists to allow partnership between the school, pupils, parents and teachers to create a welcoming and inclusive community which supports the education of children and the welfare of the school community. It also seeks to represent the views of parents on education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils.
Our WishWe seek to reinstate the school garden which is in a poor state of repair following the pandemic. The school have enrolled the older children in the John Muir Award, and they are currently clearing the garden manually and hoping to create a sensory space which would be used by school pupils as well as the local community. The scale of the project is far greater than initially envisaged. The current pathways are broken, unsafe and not accessible for those with mobility issues, an area of decking requires repair or replacement and the garden needs replanted. We would gratefully accept the donation of materials and goods. We require the donation of fence panels, fence posts, plants, topsoil and bark. This will help us create a sensory garden for the community to use.
