| About us | The Partnership group of St John's Primary Blackwood exists to allow partnership between the school, pupils, parents and teachers to create a welcoming and inclusive community which supports the education of children and the welfare of the school community. It also seeks to represent the views of parents on education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils. |
| Our Wish | We seek to reinstate the school garden which is in a poor state of repair following the pandemic. The school have enrolled the older children in the John Muir Award, and they are currently clearing the garden manually and hoping to create a sensory space which would be used by school pupils as well as the local community. The scale of the project is far greater than initially envisaged. The current pathways are broken, unsafe and not accessible for those with mobility issues, an area of decking requires repair or replacement and the garden needs replanted. We would gratefully appreciate a donation of voluntary time - specific specialised services. We require labour and materials to: (a) Re-lay the pathways: 70 450mm x 450mm x 32 mm buff slabs, 40 600 x 600mm x 32 mm buff slabs, building sand, cement and primer. (b) We also require the repair or replace the our decking of approximately 59 square metres. |
