| About us | We are a local community group, operating a community café and food pantry from the Hillhouse Civic Centre supporting local community members with various support such as the free food pantry, we also support with activities for children, provide free debt and benefits advise and provide a free swap shop. The group are currently developing a recreation area within Hillhouse for the local community to enjoy, which includes raised beds and planting, and space for children and young people to play. We are in our third phase of this project. We use this space for community events, as well as supporting events from the local community council. |
| Our Wish | With all the support that we provide locally, we are now in need to access a small van so that we are able to receive surplus food donations from a range of local supermarkets and shops, we are also constantly offered larger items which we can then pass onto local residents who may be in need of the item, but we struggle to collect. Our current pick up dates are Monday to Thursday, and if anyone can help on any of these days it would be appreciated. |
