Idea	Rather than fill up every open space in the Knowehead area with trees, in an area that has plenty of trees (indeed some of the overlarge conifers need removed), why not plant your trees around the motorway that runs through Uddingston to screen the noise and air pollution? There is plenty of scope for tree planting around the Maryville junction and to replace some of the trees unnecessarily removed on the Uddingston to Daldowie road during the motorway expansion.
Response	The road areas suggested are operated and managed by the trunk road operator, not South Lanarkshire Council.
