Heating in council properties
| Idea | My house is cold even with the heating on, due to draughts. I have put up extra curtains and tried to find out where the draughts are coming from and tried to seal them. I contacted Home Energy Scotland to see if they could help and they told me to contact the council. My idea was to get someone to come out with a heat loss camera to find the cause of the draughts. |

| Response | We use thermal imaging camera surveys for our council stock or mixed tenure blocks. If a home owner asked for this service, initially we would refer them to Home Energy Scotland to see if they could provide this service or point them in the right direction of a company who could. Home Energy Scotland is funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust and we can make referrals through their portal and they will contact the householder.
