| Summary | A new service arrangement is being put in place Autumn 2022 for Independent Advocacy Provision for services users (Mental Health, Learning Disability, Older People with Dementia). The service arrangement will be commissioned via an open tender process. A Prior Interest Notice (PIN) has been submitted with expression of interest from a number of Providers. This service will be directed to vulnerable adults and older people requiring the support of Advocacy and who have been assessed/supported by the council as requiring advocacy, care and protection or support. The new Service Arrangement will continue to provide Independent Advocacy that adheres to the National Outcomes, Principles and Standards as detailed by the Scottish Independent Advocacy Alliance. |
