NEC bulk replacement strategy

| Summary | The existing CMD3 National Entitlement Card type will no longer work on transport systems as of 31 December 2016. To minimise loss of service to our citizens, it is essential we re-issue all concessionary card holders with the new CMD2 cards before this date. Following consultation between NEC Programming Office, Improvement Service, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport and all 32 local authorities it was agreed a secure data match would be required in order to ensure where possible that we have accurate and up to date addresses before issuing cards to effected cardholders. This will involve securely transferring local citizen data to the Data Hub service; hosted by IS referred to as myaccount. |
