Membership detailsMembership shall be open regardless of nationality, political party, race or religious opinions to all tenants and residents over the age of sixteen years.

Membership shall be no more than two per household. Where an issue relates directly to specific residents only, (e.g. Council policy affecting Council house tenants only) only those directly concerned with the issue will have the right to be involved.
AGMThe AGM shall be held in June each year. The secretary shall notify all members, advertise locally the details of the AGM not less then fourteen days before the meeting.
RepresentationThere shall be a General Meeting open to all members of the Association every three months.

Special Meetings may be called at the discretion of the committee or may be called if ten or members submit a request in writing for such a meeting to the Secretary. The secretary shall arrange for such a meeting to take place within fourteen days.

In all cases the Secretary will publicise general meetings at least five days in advance.
Activities of the groupThe aims of the Association will be to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Overton and environs without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, by associating with the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare or recreation and leisure time occupation with the aim of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants.
