The gallery will be located in the New Lanark Mill shop which currently houses the textile carding machine (which will be relocated to the basement level, where other textile processes take place) and the education rooms (which will be relocated to the School for Children). Once complete, the work will create a large, flexible space, specifically designed for exhibitions, with a dedicated reception and ticketing desk and storage. |
