Aims and Objectives | The aim is to reduce the current opening hours of 15 leisure centres operated by South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture Limited. The facilities affected are; Carluke Leisure Centre Lanark Lifestyles Biggar Sports Centre Larkhall Leisure Centre Lesmahagow Sports Centre Uddingston Sports Centre Stonelaw Community Centre Duncanrig Sports Centre Stewartfield Community Centre Strathaven Leisure Centre Lifestyles Eastfield Blantyre Leisure Centre Jock Stein Sports Centre Burnhill Sports Centre Hamilton Water Palace Six of the facilities included in the review are dual use facilities namely Duncanrig, Uddingston, Biggar, Strathaven, Lesmahagow and Stonelaw - these are facilities that are attached to schools. It is anticipated that this change will allow existing services to continue to be delivered at the most effective and efficient times to meet customer demand. |
