Aims and ObjectivesThis a proposed saving of £600,000 by a reduction in employee costs as a result of a restructure across all services in Corporate Resources and the introduction of streamlined workflows.
ConclusionThe conclusion of this initial equality impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the workforce covered by equalities legislation, or on workforce relations. The policy will be implemented in line with the Council collective agreement and the deletion of posts will be through natural wastage and early retirement.
