| Description | The cemetery opened in the 1800s and incorporates the old churchyard which contains several historic gravestones. Prime Minister William Gladstone's great great grandfather is buried here. The cemetery was extended in 1988. Lairs can only be purchased at the time of burial within this cemetery and will continue to re-open family lairs. The cemetery can also accommodate interments of cremated remains within existing family lairs. |
