Efficiency Saving 2009/2010: relocation to new premises
Efficiency Saving 2009/2010: relocation to new premises | South Lanarkshire Council
Title | Efficiency Saving 2009/2010: relocation to new premises |
Council Resource | Social Work |
Service Area | Social Work Resources |
Aims and Objectives | Structural defects have been identified at 29 Clydesdale Street in Hamilton and the property is not viable for refurbishment. Two voluntary organisations - Petal and Better Government for Older People - remain based in the building and will need to be rehoused.
|
Conclusion | An initial equality impact assessment has identified the need to monitor the impact that the move to new premises may have on the uptake of services. An action plan has been developed to do this and the results of these actions will inform future action, including any further impact assessment that may be required.
