Efficiency Saving 2009/2010: concessionary rental income
Efficiency Saving 2009/2010: concessionary rental income | South Lanarkshire Council
Title | Efficiency Saving 2009/2010: concessionary rental income |
Council Resource | Social Work |
Service Area | Social Work Resources |
Aims and Objectives | Due to historical partnership arrangements, a number of partner organisations delivering services from South Lanarkshire Council premises benefit from concessionary rents or other financial benefits (e.g. no maintenance costs). It is proposed to review these arrangements and implement a new charge for rent, rates and other associated property costs.
|
Conclusion | An initial equality impact assessment has identified the need to monitor the impact of changes to rental agreements on the number of services provided by partners from Council premises. This will be completed by the end of 2009 and the information gathered from this will be used to determine whether further impact assessment is required.
