Aims and Objectives | It is proposed to undertake a review of the current charging policy for non-residential services in line with COSLA Guidance. The revised scale of charges would continue to be based on the individual?s ability to pay and range from no charge with no upper maximum limit, subject to the cost of the service.

Conclusion | It is proposed to undertake a review of the current charging policy for non-residential services in line with COSLA Guidance. The revised scale of charges would continue to be based on the individual?s ability to pay and range from no charge with no upper maximum limit, subject to the cost of the service. Based on the current profile of service users, it is anticipated that the charge will either decrease or not change for 52% of service users. The charge will increase for 48% of service users however it is anticipated that the service user will be able to afford the increase.
