| Aims and Objectives | It is proposed to increase the charge to other local authorities by the rate of inflation of 2.5% in respect of accessing day care placements within South Lanarkshire Council facilities.

| Conclusion | It is proposed to increase the charge to other local authorities by 2.5% in respect of accessing day care placements within facilities operated by South Lanarkshire Council. The proposed increase in the charge for the physical disability service is £4.23 per week from £169 per week to £173.23 per week. The proposed increase in the charge for the learning disability service is £2.10 per week from £84 per week to £86.10 per week. It is anticipated that there will be no impact on service users who are not ordinarily resident in South Lanarkshire Council as the increase in the charge will be met by the other local authority. There is a reciprocal arrangement in place across all local authorities whereby the charge for accessing services in other local authority areas is increased annually in line with inflation. Based on the outcome of the initial impact assessment, a full impact assessment is not required.
