Aims and Objectives | This policy proposes to introduce a more realistic pricing policy to standardise the fees parents pay for additional hours over their entitlement allocation. This policy compares favourably with the private sector and other local authorities. |
Conclusion | This policy proposes to introduce a more realistic pricing policy to standardise the fees parents pay for additional hours over their entitlement allocation. There is no evidence that different target equality groups will be adversely affected by this policy. If any adverse impact is identified in the future in relation to the equality groups, this will be addressed through ASN legislation and/or the Inclusion agenda. We will continue to work in partnership with Social Work, Integrating Children's Services and health services to ensure that vulnerable families are supported. Therefore, the conclusion of this initial impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation, or on community relations. |
