| Aims and Objectives | Provision of a confidential administrative and secretarial service to the Leader of the Council, Senior Councillors, Councillors and the Provost's Office. This includes Councillors Case Management System (CCMS) support, instigation of problem solving measures in members' absence, surgery arrangements, conference/ accommodation and travel arrangements, research and information facility.

| Conclusion | The conclusion of this intial equality impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation or on community relations. Member Services provide support to the 67 elected members of South Lanarkshire Council to allow them to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.
