Aims and ObjectivesSL LBAP is a partnership document that sets out outcomes and a programme of actions for improving biodiversity. Actions are delivered from across the Partnership; by SLC, Government Agencies, NGOs, etc.
ConclusionThe conclusion of this initial equality impact assessment is that there is not any adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation, or on community relations. The Local Biodiversity Action Plan will be subject to full consultation by March 2010. The outcomes of the Action Plan will be monitored through the South Lanarkshire Biodiversity Partnership and an annually reviewed action plan. Projects derived from the Plans objectives will be assessed and monitored separately for equality impacts.
