  • Adaptation Scotland: is a national program that provides practical advice, support, and tools to help organisations and communities in Scotland adapt to the impacts of climate change.  They offer a range of resources, including guidance documents, case studies, and training programmes.  Adaptation Scotland also offer a practical resource to guide communities in adapting to climate change: Adaptation Scotland: Community Climate Adaptation Routemap.

 

  • Scottish Government Climate Change Adaptation Programme: The Scottish Government has developed a Climate Change Adaptation Programme, which sets out the national strategy for adapting to climate change. The programme provides guidance on how to identify and address climate change risks and opportunities.

 

  • Climate Ready Clyde: is a regional initiative that aims to help the Clyde region adapt to climate change.  They provide guidance, support, and resources to help businesses, organisations, and communities in the region become more resilient to climate change.

 

  • Sniffer: is a charity that works to build resilience to climate change and other environmental challenges.  They offer a range of resources and services, including training programs, research reports, and guidance documents.

 

  • Scottish Flood Forum: is a charity that provides support to individuals and communities affected by flooding. They offer guidance and resources to help communities prepare for and respond to flooding events, which are expected to become more frequent and severe due to climate change.

 

  • Keep Scotland Beautiful: is a charity that works to protect and enhance Scotland's natural environment.  They offer guidance and resources to help communities become more sustainable and resilient, including resources on climate change adaptation.

 

  • Sustainable Scotland Network: is a resource that provides guidance and support to help communities become more sustainable and resilient.  The network includes resources on climate change adaptation, as well as resources on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable transport.

 

  • Ready Scot: Ready Scotland’s aim is to make Scotland more resilient to emergencies.  Disruptions can happen at any time and they are here to help.  They have tips on the small steps you can take to prepare your home, your family and your business for the unexpected and when emergencies do occur, they have advice on how you can best respond, keep yourself safe and help others in your community.
