myaccount

myaccount is a secure service provided by the Scottish Government that lets you use one account to access various public services, including those from other councils and the NHS. You can use myaccount on a computer, tablet, or smartphone, anywhere.

To get started, you need to register with mygovscot myaccount below. All you need is an email address, and once you register, you will receive your login details by email.

Council Tax

You can view your Council Tax account, make payments, apply for discounts and exemptions, and download your Council Tax bill summary.

Please note that if you update your address on myaccount, this does not automatically update the council’s records. You must report any address changes using our online forms for Council Tax.

Rent

Please note, we are currently moving to a new housing system.

During this transition, there will be no access to your online rent account. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will let you know as soon as the new system is fully operational.

School payments and information for parents

School payments are made through ParentPay. For more details, visit our ParentPay page. You’ll need to log in to myaccount again when you’re on the ParentPay website.

Parents can also track their child’s school events and activities online using Parentsportal. For more details, visit our Parentsportal page.
