View Park Road will be closed between A702 and Mercat Loan for short 15 minute periods from 8am on Wednesday 5 March to 6pm on Thursday 6 March for BT Openreach repairs.

Calder/Westburn Road is closed between Blantyre Farm Road to Hallside Road, Cambuslang from 7am on Monday 13 January to 5pm on Sunday 29 June for roundabout construction works. Diversion route for vehicles under 4.6m – Blantyre Farm Road, A724 Glasgow Road, Hamilton Road, Westburn Road and vice versa. Berriedale Path is closed between 1 Berriedale Path and Berriedale Crescent from 9am to 9pm on Tuesday 28 January for ironwork maintenance works by Scottish Water.

Calder Street is closed between Craig Street and Victoria Street from Monday 17 February to Tuesday 18 February for carriageway repairs. Diversion via Victoria Street, Hardie Street, Craig Street, Calder Road.

Victoria Street is closed between Calder Street and Glasgow Road from Monday 17 February to Tuesday 18 February for carriageway repairs. Diversion via Calder Street, Stonefield Road, Glasgow Road.

Broompark Avenue is closed between 1 Broompark Avenue and Broompark Road from 9am to 9pm on Friday 7 March for Scottish Water ironwork repairs. Local access will be maintained when possible throughout the closure.

Braidwood

Woodhall Road is closed between B7056 Braidwood Road and Woodhall Farm from 7am Monday 3 February for up to 12 days for Scottish Power Energy Networks overhead line replacement works. No alternative route is available. Local residential/business access to be managed on site
by escort vehicle.

Cambuslang

Howieshill Road is closed between Hamilton Road and 60a Howieshill Road from 9.30am to 9pm Sunday 16 February for Scottish Water maintenance works. Diversion via Howieshill Road, Croft Road, Hamilton Road and vice versa.

Carluke

Mauldslie Road is closed between Pilans Avenue and Lawhill Road from 8am on Monday 10 February for up to 5 days for carriageway resurfacing works. Diversion via Mauldslie Road, Luggie Road, A73, B7011, Mauldslie Road and vice versa.

Carmichael

Thorniehills Road is closed between A70 and School Road from Monday 17 February 2025 for 5 days for patching works. Diversion via C36 from A70 to Sandilands, A70 and vice versa.

Carstairs Junction

Lampits Road is closed at Lampits Railway Bridge from 10pm Wednesday 5 February to 6am Thursday 6 February for bridge inspection works by Network Rail. Diversion via Carnwath Road, Strawfrank Road, Station Road, Carstairs Road, West View, Lanark Road, A70, Lampits Road and vice versa.

Coalburn

C14 from Deadwaters B7086 to Coalburn is closed from Pretoria Court to Stockbriggs from New Trows C13 to Cumberhead from 8am on Monday 17 February for up to 2 weeks for Scottish Power installation of ducting and cabling works. Diversion via Shoulderigg Road, Coalburn Road, New Trows Road and Stockbriggs from New Trows C13 to Cumberhead.

Douglas Water

Ponfeigh Road is closed between Collierhall Road and Townhead Farm from 9.30am until 3.30pm on Thursday 20 February for BT Openreach works. Diversion via Ponfeigh Road, A70, Ayr Road and Collierhall Road.

East Kilbride

Montgomery Place is closed at Kittoch Street from Thursday 1 August to Wednesday 30 April 2025 for demolition works. There is no alternative route.

Cleughearn Road is closed between Auldhouse Road and Millwell Road from 7am on Monday 27 January to 7pm on Friday 31 January for BT ducting and cabling works. Diversion via Auldhouse Road, Millwell Road and vice versa.

Inglis Place is closed at Somerville Drive from Tuesday 28 January to Thursday 30 January for repairs.

Millwell Road is closed between Raahead Farm and Laigh Cleughearn Farm from 7am Monday 10 February to 7pm Friday 14 February for resurfacing. Diversion via Millwell Road, Auldhouse Road, Cleughearn Road, Millwell Road and vice versa.

Eden Drive is closed between Severn Road and Eden Gardens on Wednesday 12 February for Scottish Water manhole repairs. Diversion via Severn Road, Douglas Drive, Millburn Way, Greenhills Road and vice versa.

Kittoch Street is closed between Montgomery Place and Kittoch Street Car Park from 6am Saturday 15 February to 6am Monday 17 February for Scottish Water works. Diversion via Kittoch Street, Main Street, Stuart Street and the B761 West Mains Road.

Glenburn Way is closed from 8am Monday 24 February to 6pm Wednesday 26 February for repairs. Diversion via A726 Queensway, B761 West Mains Road, Arrotshole Road and Glenburn Road.

Churchill Avenue (northbound and southbound dual carriageways) and sections of the centre roundabout will be closed between Priestknowe roundabout and Cornwall Street from 10pm to 7am daily from Wednesday 26 February (10am) to Friday 28 February (7am). Diversion via Whitemoss Avenue, A726 Kingsway, A726 Queensway, Churchill Avenue and Cornwall Street. 

The car park access at Torrance Road is closed from 8am Wednesday 19 March to 6am on Friday 4 April for Network Rail works to install a sewer connection to the new train station. Diversion via Torrance Road and Kirktonholme Road back onto the B761 West Mains Road.

Blacklands Road is closed between Falkland Drive and Culross Hill from 8am to 5pm Tuesday 25 March for Scottish Water surveys. Diversion via Blacklands Road, Cornwall Street, Churchill Avenue, B761 Westmains Road and Kirktonholme Road.

Elvanfoot

A702 Dumfries Road is closed between B7040 Leadhills Road and Station Road from 8am on Monday 3 March until Monday 31 March for bridge repairs. Diversion via A702, A76, B740, B7078 and A702.

Ferniegair

Honeysuckle Court is closed between 3 Honeysuckle Court and the junction with Candycroft Wynd and Belvidere Drive from 9.30am to 9pm on Tuesday 4 February for Scottish Water ironworks.

Glassford

Heads Highway is closed between Rockville House and Lawside Meadows from Monday 24 February to Tuesday 25 February for Scottish Water works.

Wellgreen Highway and Heads Highway are closed between Bents and Station Highway to Wellgreen Farm and Maidenwell Cottage from Wednesday 26 February to Friday 28 February for Scottish Water works. Diversion via Bents and Station Highway and Heads Highway and vice versa.

Bents and Station Highway is closed between Wellbrae Farm and Station Cottage from Saturday 1 March to Sunday 2 March for Scottish Water works. Diversion via Bents and Station Highway, Station Road, Jackson Street, Alston Street, Millar Street, C122 Strathaven to Glassford road, Glassford Road, Hamilton Road, A723 Strathaven to Hamilton road and vice versa.

Heads Highway and Bents and Station Highway are closed between 5 Heads Highway and 100m either side of the junction of Bents and Station Highway and Heads Highway from Saturday 8 March to Sunday 9 March for Scottish Water works. Diversion for Bents and Station Highway via Station Road, Jackson Street, Alston Street, Millar Street, C122 Strathaven to Glassford road, Glassford Road, Hamilton Road, A723 Strathaven to Hamilton road and vice versa. Heads Highway diversion via Wellgreen Highway.

Hamilton

Newhousemill Road is closed between Muttonhole Road and Lismore (East Kilbride) from Monday 27 January to Friday 31 January for carriageway patching works. Diversion via A726 Strathaven Road, East Kilbride Expressway, Sydes Brae, Parkneuk Road, Newhousemill Road and vice versa

Ashland Avenue is closed between Douglas Crescent and High Parks Crescent from 7am to 6pm on Wednesday 12 February for carriageway patching. Diversion via Douglas Crescent, Forest Avenue and High Parks Crescent.

Douglas Place is closed between Douglas Crescent and 8 Douglas Place from 7am to 6pm on Wednesday 12 February for carriageway patching. 

Carscallan Road is closed between Beech Avenue and Black Bog Farm from 9am to 5pm on Friday 14 February for carriageway patching works. Diversion via Carscallan Road, Limekilnburn Road, A723 Strathaven Road.

Newfield Crescent is closed from Monday 3 February to Monday 17 February to install a pedestrian crossing. Diversion via Woodview Terrace.

Farm Road is closed between Mayfield Road and number 79 Farm Road from 9am to 9pm on Monday 17 February for Scottish Water iron work repair. Diversion via Livingstone Street, Waverley Crescent and Waverley Street.

Carlisle Road is closed at Avon Bridge from 9am to 4pm on Monday 23 February for a bridge inspection. Diversion via A72 Carlisle Road, B7078 through Larkhall, Canderside Toll, A71 Stonehouse By Pass to Strathaven, A723 Strathaven Road to Hamilton, Low Waters Road, Duke Street, Townhead Street.

Backmuir Road is closed between Auchinraith Avenue and Dryburgh Street from Monday 24 March to Tuesday 25 March for carriageway repairs. Diversion via Auchinraith Avenue, Dryburgh Street, Backmuir Road and vice versa.

Mill Road is closed westbound between 1 Mill Road and Strathaven Road from Monday 3 March to Friday 7 March for Virgin media repair works. Diversion via Clydesdale Street, Douglas Street and Almada Street.

Queens Drive is closed between 28 and 32 Queens Drive from 9am to 9pm Wednesday 5 March for Scottish Water ironwork repairs. Diversion via Douglas Crescent, Clydesdale Avenue and Mansfield Road.

Clarkwell Terrace is closed between 15 Clarkwell Terrace and Clarkwell Road from Monday 24 March until Tuesday 25 March for resurfacing.

Quarry Street is closed between Cadzow Street and Duke Street from 5.30am to 7pm on Saturday 19 April for Easter Gala Day.

Mary Street is closed from 9.30am Sunday 6 April until 11.59pm Monday 28 April for Scottish Water works.

Kirkfieldbank

Byretown Gardens is closed between Byretown Grove and Byretown Gardens from 9am to 9pm on Wednesday 5 February for the Scottish Water works to repair a damaged manhole.

Old Bridgend is closed at Kirkfield Road from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Wednesday 19 February for inspection works at Clydesholm Bridge.

A73 Lanark Road (Cartland Bridge) is closed between A72 Kirkfieldbank Brae and West Nemphlar Road from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Sunday 16 February for bridge inspection works. Diversion via A73, A721, A706, A73 and vice versa.

A70 Ayr Road is closed between A73 and A743 from Monday 10 March for up to 5 days for resurfacing and lining works. Diversion via A73, Hyndford Road, Wellgate, Lanark High Street, St Leonards Street, A743 and vice versa.

Larkhall

Candermill and Marlage Road are closed between Hill Road and Broomfield Road from Monday 24 February to Sunday 20 April for Scottish Water mains upgrade works.

Leadhills

Ramsay Road is closed between Cemetery Road and 11 Ramsay Road from 8am Monday 3 February to 6pm Friday 21 February for water and sewage services installation works. Diversion via Ramsay Road and Main Street.

North bound lane of B7078 Carlisle Road is closed between B7018 Eastwood Road and Milton Bridge for short periods of 15 minutes between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on Monday 27 January for urgent carriageway repairs.

Gleck from Carlisle Road B7078 to Lesmahagow C202 is closed between B7078 Carlisle Road and Balgray Road from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Wednesday 5 March for rail bridge inspection works. Diversion via B7078 Carlisle Road and Balgray Road.

B7016 is closed between the 30mph gateway on the north approach to Libberton and Yett Cottage from Monday 27 January until Friday 7 February for surfacing works. Diversion via B7016, A702, A721, A70 and vice versa.

Grange Road is closed between it's junction with Eastfield Road for approximately 300m from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Tuesday 4 March for BT Openreach pole replacement. Diversion via Grange Road, Glentisset Road, C29, Eastfield Road and vice-versa.

Rutherglen

Bankhead Road is closed between Ewing Street and Mill Street from 8am Monday 6 January to 5pm Sunday 2 February for Scottish Gas works. Diversion via Mill Street, Kings Park Avenue, Bankhead Road and vice versa.

Wallace Street is closed between Bankhead Road and Harriet Street from 8am Monday 6 January to 5pm Sunday 2 February for Scottish Gas works. Diversion via Wallace Street, Bouverie Street, Farie Street, Cathcart Road, Burnhill Street, Mill Street and vice versa.

Clincarthill Road is closed between house numbers 32 and 36 from 9.30am on Saturday 15 February to 11.59pm on Wednesday 18 February for Scottish Water works. Diversion via Balvaird Drive, Johnstone Drive, Belmont Drive.

Shawfield Drive (southbound only) is closed at Glasgow Road for around 80 metres southwest for repairs from 7am Monday 17 February to 7pm Friday 21 February. Diversion via via Glasgow Road, Rutherglen Road and Shawfield Drive. 

Johnstone Drive is closed between Stonelaw Road and Belmont Drive from 9.30am Thursday 20 February to 3.30pm Friday 28 February for BT apparatus maintenance. Northbound diversion via Stonelaw Road, Main Street, Mill Street and Johnstone Drive. Southbound diversion via Stonelaw Road, Rodger Drive, Mill Street and Johnstone Drive.

Landemer Drive is closed between Millburn Avenue and number 9 Landemer Drive from 9am to 9pm on Sunday 2 March for Scottish Water ironwork replacement works.

Fishescoates Avenue is closed between Brownside Road and East Kilbride Road from 10pm Thursday 13 March to 6am Friday 14 March for rail bridge inspections. Symington

Broadfield Road is closed at Burnhead Road from 10pm Saturday 1 March to 6am Sunday 2 March for inspection of the rail bridge.

Thortonhall

Cartside Highway is closed between Waterfoot Road and Glenmore from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday 31 March for British Telecom repairs. Diversion via Waterfoot Road, Peel Road and Holehouse Highway.

Uddingston

Old Glasgow Road is closed between Lady Isle Crescent and Kylepark Drive from 8pm to 6am each evening from Monday 27 January to Friday 31 January for railway bridge works. Diversion via Old Glasgow Road, Bellshill Road, Main Street, Glasgow Road, Blantyre Farm Road, Kylepark Drive and vice versa.
