South Lanarkshire National Entitlement Card
The Scottish Government, Young Scot, local councils and other organisations have worked together to offer citizens across Scotland the National Entitlement Card, a nationally recognised electronic smart card, which make it easier to access their services.
Types of cards
Currently, the National Entitlement Card is offered to the groups below:
11 - 25 year olds Young people
View Young people categoriesThe National Entitlement Card, sometimes referred to as the Young Scot Card, is free for all 11-25 year olds resident in Scotland.
Older people 60+
View Older people categoriesThe National Entitlement Card is available if you are over 60, entitling you to free bus travel anywhere in Scotland and local concessions on the train and subway.
Disabled people
View Disabled people categoriesThe National Entitlement Card is also available if you are disabled, entitling you to free bus travel anywhere in Scotland and local concessions on the train and subway.
